Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") describes conduct and content that is prohibited on Arship. It supplements and is incorporated into our Terms of Service. Violating this AUP can result in content removal, account suspension, or account termination.

1. Prohibited Content

You may not upload, post, transmit, or otherwise make available through the Service any content that:

• Infringes copyright or other intellectual property. This includes uploading commercial sound recordings (e.g., songs from streaming services, CDs, or digital purchases), licensed multitrack stems (e.g., MultiTracks.com, Loop Community, PraiseCharts files), click tracks or backing tracks licensed to a specific church or organization, or any content for which you do not have the necessary licenses or permissions.
• Violates another person's privacy or publicity rights. Do not post recordings of someone else's voice or image without their permission, and do not post anyone's personal information without their consent.
• Is obscene, sexually explicit, or sexually suggestive, particularly involving minors. Any content that exploits, sexualizes, or endangers minors will result in immediate termination and a report to the appropriate authorities (including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children).
• Is hateful, harassing, threatening, defamatory, or incites violence against any person or group, including on the basis of race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic.
• Promotes self-harm or dangerous activity.
• Promotes illegal goods or services, including illegal drugs, weapons, or fraud.
• Contains malware, viruses, or other harmful code.
• Spams, phishes, or scams. No mass-messaging unrelated team members, no impersonation, no deceptive content.
• Is false or misleading in a way intended to deceive other users (e.g., impersonating a worship leader to gain access to a team).

2. Prohibited Conduct

When using the Service, you may not:

• Circumvent, disable, or interfere with any security feature of the Service, including authentication, rate limits, or content moderation;
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the Service, except to the extent applicable law permits;
• Use the Service to develop or train a machine learning or AI model on User Content that is not your own;
• Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to access or extract data from the Service;
• Impersonate another person, misrepresent your affiliation with any team or organization, or use false credentials;
• Create accounts in bulk, share accounts, or transfer accounts;
• Use the Service to send unsolicited communications or for commercial solicitation outside the scope of your team's worship rehearsal activity;
• Attempt to access or use another user's account, recordings, messages, or team data without authorization;
• Use the Service to violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right.

3. Use of Recordings

Recordings made through Arship are intended for private team rehearsal and review only. You may not:

• Distribute, broadcast, stream, or publish recordings outside your team;
• Sell, license, or otherwise commercially exploit recordings;
• Upload recordings to public-facing platforms (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Spotify, etc.) without obtaining all necessary licenses outside of Arship;
• Use recordings for any purpose other than rehearsal, review, or coordination with your team.

If you wish to release a recording publicly or commercially, you must export the recording from Arship and obtain all necessary rights (mechanical, synchronization, master, performance) on your own. Arship does not provide those rights.

4. Protecting Minors

If your team includes accounts created for minors under 13, parents and team admins share responsibility for ensuring those accounts are used in a manner consistent with COPPA and the supervising parent's instructions. Adult team members must not initiate one-to-one direct messages with child accounts; the Service blocks cross-account-type direct messages as a safeguard. Concerns about a minor's safety should be reported to support@arship.app.

5. Enforcement

Reports of AUP violations should be sent to support@arship.app with as much detail as possible. We investigate reports we receive. We may remove content, restrict features, suspend accounts, or terminate accounts that violate this AUP, with or without notice, at our discretion.

Three valid copyright-takedown notices against the same account will result in account termination consistent with our DMCA Policy. Severe violations (such as content involving minors, threats of violence, or criminal activity) may result in immediate termination and referral to law enforcement.

6. Changes

We may update this AUP from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by updating the "Last updated" date above.
